Know Yourself How to Create a Mini Concert
Starting your own band can be an exciting thing to do, but what is a band without an audience to listen to them. While some people get spotted with deals, there are some people who enjoy throwing their own concerts just for the fun of it. If you are thinking of throwing your very own mini concert, here are some tips you can follow.
The first thing you should consider would be the date and time of the concert. If you know your audience, you can hold the concert during the time they would be free. The best time to have concerts are usually weekends or holidays because everyone would not have next day’s work or studies to be concerned of, so they can enjoy your music with ease. Having it after working hour works best since some people may have work to do during then.
The next thing you should consider is the venue. It can be held anywhere as long as it is large enough to accommodate your expected audience, and does not disrupt the people in the area. Some people have their concerts in their own yards or garages, enough for a small crowd.
Of course, invitation is important. If you have a group of fans, they can help you spread the word easily. You might want to consider pasting posters, using online social networks, or e-mailing directly. If you want stick to a smaller crowd, you can have an invite-only passes. Especially if you are holding it at home, you should keep your crowd in control.
Since it would be best held at night, you will probably want spot lights up as well to keep the focus on the band. Have some for your audience and prepare rubbish bins to keep the litter in control. Make sure there are enough spot lights on to avoid accidents from occurring. Your band will be responsible for the activities after all. Most importantly, make sure your instruments are properly tuned and are functioning fine. Get back-up instruments if needed, so that your concert will run as smooth as possible.
